Important Points to be Noted
  • During the month of January, the climate of Ludhiana will be very cold and the participants should bring their bedding and thick wollen clothes accordingly.
  • Durries / floor mats will be provided. Participants should bring the their own daily items of their use.
  • Participants should strictly adhere to the tea, breakfast, lunch and dinner timings.
  • Strict timings for performance and hostels will be ensured by all Participants.
  • Display of identity Cards by Participants and Officials is mandatory.
  • Smoking, alcoholic drinks, drugs and other intoxicants are strictly prohibited during the festival.
  • Participants should observe strict discipline and obey the day to day instructions given by the festival organizers.
  • Indisciplined participants will be shunted out of the festival without any reimbursement of travelling fare.
  • The bio-data of the play writer should be filled in Form 'B' (It is to ascertain that the participants have not crossed the age of 35 years on 12th January 2014) and send the same to the organisers along with bio-data of the participants. The copy of the same shall also be handed over to the the organisers at the time of registration.
  • Participants/performers of the items may bring accompanists at their own cost but should inform the State Government in advance so that they, in turn, can fill the same information in Form 'B'.
  • Participants who will perform different items under Competitive as well as non-competitive section should come with full rehearsal, preparation and confidence. They may not get enough time for rehearsal etc. in Ludhiana, Punjab.
  • Other instructions as deemed fit by State Government may also be given to team incharges/participants for the smooth conduct of Yuva Utsava.
